Tripel Karmeliet

Hazy pale yellow, big foamy head. Smooth fruity bready malts. Yeast and spice also play a prominent role, but don’t overwhelm. Maybe a hint of brett in there as well. Finish is gentle and dry. Smooth sipping well made Tripel. Nothing wrong with this one.

750 ml poured a nice thick white head. smell is heavily of yeast and spice. The aroma is fairly strong. Taste is very yeasty with a hint of non-citrus fruit (bananas--more banana bread). The color is a beautiful hazy honey color. A solid abbey tripel.

From a bottle poured a hazy golden body with a medium sized white top. Nose of yeast, wheat, and spices. Typical clove and spice nose, dry and fruity. Complex and well balanced.

750ml Bottle - Pours a hazy gold with a little white head. Smells of yeast, must, funk, spices, wheat. Taste is similar to a regular Belgian blonde, but less sweet. Yeast, clove, banana, very crisp and slightly dry. Not fantastic, but better than most.

Bottle at the lovely Cafe de Bruxelles in New York City, served in an amazing fat-bellied glass, with a plate of delicious moules frites. Fresh, fruity aroma and very nice flavor, similar to a blonde. Hints of clove, banana, coconut. Very nice!

Pleasant floral aroma. Dark honey color. Light head retention. Malty intro with full, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Significant alcohol presence in the finish with sweet overripe banana notes.

A very fruity aroma. Huge frothy, white head. Excellent lacing. Mostly lasting longevity. Clear yellow body. Heavy bitter initial flavor. Medium palate.

Bottle, 33 cl. golden, clear, rocky head. Rather sweet but also well balanced. Lightly spiced. It has a medium body and average carbonation. A long finish with alcohol in the clearly present.
