There is a sweet, spicy, and boozy aroma that blend together perfectly. The appearance is as described, blonde and robust. The flavor fully fills your palate and the mouth is tingling with spices, and slightly sweet in the blonde ale tradition. This is one of my favorite beers ever. This is the definitive idea of a delicious Belgian Brew to make the country proud to be the best beer producer in the world

750 ml bottle. Popped the cork and was hit with a skunky and musty aroma. I had heard that the big green bottle was very prone to light damage and I was a bit worried at first that it was a skunky bottle. Pour was a clear golden with a big head. Once I actually got my nose into the glass there was a mix of spices and fruits. The actual taste was a nice surprise, yeast, banana, pear, and light toffee. Not at all what I would expect from the look of the beer. You get a bit of warmth in the finish, but not a harsh alcohol burn. All in all a rather complex beer that had me guessing from beginning to end.

Bottle - Pours yellow with a nice white head. Smells skunky and musty up front, with sweet fruit underneath. I actually thought this bottle might be a little lightstruck, but the flavors underneath make me think twice. There are some apples, pears, and earthy flavors in there. Taste is fruity and complex, with wheat and smooth grain adding some balance. It’s spicy and hoppy, with some lemon notes on the finish. Warms a bit as it goes down the throat, but that’s the only indication of the 8%. The carbonation is dialed up a bit too much, but overall this is pretty nice. It’s sweet, fruity, and a little hot.

750 ml bottle. Spicy musty aromas, very saison-like, sweet malt, honey, sweet bread, spicy, grassy hops on the nose. Pours blonde with a solid white head. Dry, spicy, malty, mildly funky, with spicy, grassy, earthy hops, great funky flavor, one of my favorite tripels!

I’m very new at the Craft beers, but this one has left a lastinng impression on me, exceptional taste, especially to the untrained palate... mild (to my nose) aroma, finishes very crisp leaving a plesant aftertaste. My absolute favorite craft beer so far!

The beer pours a clear, light golden color with tons of bubbles and a thick white head. Unfortunately, the beer that I drank smelled a little skunky. I’m not sure is that is how this beer always smells or if I just got bad one. Fortunately, the skunky smell did not carry over to the flavor. This is a rich, malty, sweet carmel and light in the mouth. The aroma kind of killed my rating on this beer, but otherwise it is an excellent beer.

Cloudy yellow beer with mild sedimentation. Well defined, powerful, malty aroma. Complex, flavor with nice mouthfeel.

I ’ve got nothing new to say about this excelent tripel. One of my best beers in general and one of the top 3 tripels ever.
