Sep 28, 2007 Pours light golden with a medium white head. Yeasty fruity aroma with just a bit of skunk coming thorugh. Not a fault of the beer but the green bottle and place I bought it from. Suprisingly the beer overcomes the skunk with its profile. As usual with this style, too much carbonation for my taste.

Sep 27, 2007 Golden-ornage body. Bubbley head. Banana, hops and grassy aroma. Also little peppry. A strong powerful body and palate. Peppry and malty. Fruity. Little to stong in my oppinion. The alcohol makes it burn in the mouth.

Sep 26, 2007 Cloves and dates in the nose. A rich burnt brown colour with some carbonaton. A toasty and nutty taste with raisins and cherries evident. A lovely medium body and a refined bitterness in the aftertaste. A great beer.

Sep 26, 2007 Bottle. Pours a nice golden colour, head is large and white. Aroma is fruity with strong smell of banana coming through. My only gripe with this beer is that it’s far too sweet, becomes cloying after about half a bottle. Although its not bad, I’d advise trying some other tripels before this one.

Sep 24, 2007 On tap at Galway Tribes, Like WoW...Light golden, very hazy, with a massive white head that is fluffy and long lasting. Banana and clove aroma with a touch of bubble gum and wheat. Yes malty, with over-ripened banana esters very prevalent. Velvety and soft mouthfeel - smooooth robust...X balance, quite excellent tripel.

Sep 24, 2007 Excellent Tripel! Upon opening the cork exploded out and the beer poured like Cristal Champagne. Flavors of fruit, especially berries - finished by a pleasant sweet hoppy flavor.

Sep 21, 2007 Bottle, poured into trappist glass. Has the rich head of a champion. Hazy golden opacity. Heavy banana and practically tropical aroma - this caught me off guard. Much more fruit forward than expected. The slightest hint of caramel and greater alcohol feel as it warmed toward the end of the glass. I’m suitably satisfied with it but not overwhelmed with praise. Very enjoyable.
