Poured a light hazy straw gold with a very thick and profuse, creamy, off white head. The aroma was sweet and sharp, some spice, not as up front as expected. The flavor was spicy, warm from alcohol, dry hopped it seemed.

Pours light gold/yellow with a big foamy white head. Smells of spices, cloves? banana, yeast, mmm. Fruity, yeasty taste with hints of coriander, clove. Dry almost sticky palate. Lovely drop, alcohol very well disguised.

I still hear echos of gun shot explosions as the cap came off..The head sat at least 2 times as tall as the actual beer..aroma was a yeasty concoction of strawberry banana..good strawberry banana impression with subtle spices..some fizziness..I like the balance of spice and fruitiness in this one..its very refreshing and light for 8%..Good Shizzy

33 cl bottle - Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a large white head. No lacing, but has some floaties in there. Aroma and flavor is bigtime esters with a touch of yeast. Medium body. A good beer.

75 cl bottle. Has a champagne like pop of the cork.Pours a clear blond hue with a huge fizzy head. Reeks of sweet , freshly cut alderwood mixed with spices. Nice medium body with a lively, tickley tongue feel. Taste is a fairly sweet, spicey, earthy wood flavor. A very mild hop bitterness to finish. 2003

On tap @ Ashley’s: Clear gold in color with a white head. Aroma of corriander, yeast, spice and some floral notes. Flavor, spicy and bready, yeast. Some light fruits as well. I hated this when I had it the first time, but I really had a thing against belgians at the time. This was pretty solid stuff.
