| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Oct 2, 2007 Aroma is a sweet fruity yeast scent. Color is a hazy golden yellow with very good carbonation and a very big, very thick, tight, white head. Taste sweet and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a foamy feel. Finish comes in with a mild malt flavor that is backed by a sweet fruity yeast taste. There is a mellow bitterness on the end and the yeast flavor lingers a bit with a faint alcohol feel. This is a great Belgian Ale. ilovedarkbeer (1369), Dallas, Texas, USA

Pours a nice golden color with a massive creamy head. Smells like czech hops. Sour skunky nose. Taste is completly different. Honey, yeasty, spice, sweetness, lemon and more. Really a great beer, and its a damn shame I drank it out of a solo cup. Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 21, 2003 Updated: Oct 17, 2006This was consumed with ice cream blended with the beer and apricots. I don’t think it was a good mix as this is a lively beer that is more suited as a palate cleanser. A light aroma with a vigourous light yeastiness. In context it started and maintained an acidic finish. Too fizzy for the meal. Still a good beer in the right setting.
RE-RATE: and about time too. Sincethis early rate I have had this beer a number of times and question what I was thinking when I gave this such low marks. A delightful beer that satisfies in any season of the year. Silly me.
