Golden yellow color with a thick white head. Lots of banana bread in the aroma and flavor. Pleasing dry finish. Very enjoyable.

bottle (750ml) from the beginning of 2007..... pours a semi-hazy and sprite golden brown with an overflowing fluffy white head..... light citrus, bready esthers, and a general sweet malt profile make up the nose..... flavors lended to an overwhelming amount of sweet candied sugar that was too much for its own good. a lively mouthfeel provided little escape to cloying sweetness.... i can’t say that i’m a big fan of this beer.

Pretty clear for something called ’triple’, but it was good. Sweet, smooth, fruity, very drinkable.

mostly clear, medium golden color, with light carbonation and a dense white head. perfumey aroma with lots of yeast, and some mustiness and some bubble gum and maybe a little citrus? flavor has a little barnyard, a little lemon. i can detect a little hop in the finish, but not too much.

Aroma is a sweet fruity yeast scent. Color is a hazy golden yellow with very good carbonation and a very big, very thick, tight, white head. Taste sweet and fruity. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a foamy feel. Finish comes in with a mild malt flavor that is backed by a sweet fruity yeast taste. There is a mellow bitterness on the end and the yeast flavor lingers a bit with a faint alcohol feel. This is a great Belgian Ale.

Large 750 champagne bottle. Green glass. Pours a nice golden color with a massive creamy head. Smells like czech hops. Sour skunky nose. Taste is completly different. Honey, yeasty, spice, sweetness, lemon and more. Really a great beer, and its a damn shame I drank it out of a solo cup.

This was consumed with ice cream blended with the beer and apricots. I don’t think it was a good mix as this is a lively beer that is more suited as a palate cleanser. A light aroma with a vigourous light yeastiness. In context it started and maintained an acidic finish. Too fizzy for the meal. Still a good beer in the right setting. RE-RATE: and about time too. Sincethis early rate I have had this beer a number of times and question what I was thinking when I gave this such low marks. A delightful beer that satisfies in any season of the year. Silly me.
