Aroma is spices, flora (very interesting!), light pepper, various fruits, light hops. Flavor is fairly dry. Mouthfeel is soft, delicate. Overall it’s the best Tripel I’ve had. Wow. Complex, balanced, flavorful... this one has it all. bfeldmann (1042), Wilmington, Delaware, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 19, 2007 Wow. The head on this beer came on strong--a bright creamy white color atop of a lightly hazy golden body. Soft, spicy, floral, sweet, malty, citrusy aroma with a hint of some sugary candy...I experienced some sort of Deja Vu when the aroma first hit me...some amazingly delicious sugar-coated kind of candy from my childhood. Onto the immense flavors... Ultra-fruity, but not too sweet or sour... very tasty, unique, bready, sweet malts (maybe the oats have something to do with it?), also a serious presence of hops. An amazing tripel. Best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to drink more of these, and I can’t believe it took me so long to try one... bmxutos (161), Lisboa, Portugal
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 20, 2005 Bottle, 33cl. Fabulous this one! Golden colour. It has a strong effervescence and a huge and beautiful white head, with a nice lacing. The aroma is fruity, with notes of spices and malt. Flavour is smooth and a little sweet, everything very well balanced. Alcohol noticeable but not overwhelming, all completed with a dry finish. Superb! Drink4Satan (586), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Mar 4, 2007 (750 mL) Poured a beautiful hazy pale blonde with a massive, slightly fizzy white head that is reluctant to go down. Smells of banana, citrus and maybe some pear. Typical yeasty, sugary, citrusy taste that most these belgian blondes have. There definately notes of banana here. No alcohol or bitterness in the aftertaste at all. A good beer you can give a bitch. Carl99Fan (186), Suwanee, Georgia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 20, 2007 Poured from 33cl bottle into a Trappist glass. One finger white head that dissipated almost instantly. Perfumy fruit aroma...wow! Heavy on the bananas. Beautiful brownish orange color. One of the finest looking tripels I have seen. Don’t want to ruin the presentation by tasting it but...perfumy or floral aroma carries over into the flavor. Initially very tangy, then subtle ending. Alcohol is very sneaky...(this is my third +8 ABV in 2 hours though). 98th percentile????? YES! Give me Karmeliet or give me...Karmeliet, please. Highly recommend! patty26 (95), New York, New York, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 9, 2007 Pours a deep hazy gold with a thick tan head. The aroma is of yeast, banana and raisins. Swirls around your palette with relative ease, releasing its plethora of flavors. Creamy banana and yeast up front with a lovely warming alcohol on the way down. Simply wonderful.
