Draft sample. Poured hazy yellow color with an average fizzy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate banana, clove and wheat aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a solid sweet finish of moderate duration. Good refreshing brew.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 theisti (2822) - Leawood, Kansas, USA - OCT 4, 2012
~ 16 ounce draft at the Triple 7 Brewpub at the Main Street Station, Las Vegas, Nevada. The pour is a very hazy yellow golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft wheat grain, perhaps a faint clove yeast. The taste is wheat, grain, light hay, and subtle clove and banana yeast. The palate is unfiltered, light bodied, clean finish. Easy drinking, but a bit plain. The yeast character was really dialed down on this.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Lubiere (8248) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 22, 2012
On tap as Double Down Hefeweizen. A hazed pale blonde weizen with a thin white head. In aroma, banana and cloves with light chalky notes. In mouth, a smooth sweet and creamy weizen with light bananas and berries, nice. On tap at brewpub, August 9 2012.

Tons of banana in the aroma. A yellow almost Belgian-wit style color. The flavor is pretty light yet still good. A nice light hefe.

West USA trip 2010. On tap @ Main Street Station. The aroma has fruitiness, banana’s. Hazy, yellow coloured beer with a white head. The taste is a bit sweet and has bubblegum and banana. Still sort of refreshing.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 omhper (17478) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 26, 2010
Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy golden, small head. Orangey juicy aroma. Sweet and fruity. No banana character, instead juicy ctric fruitiness dominates. Feeling somewhat tatr. Somehow most of the flavour can be derived down to the lemon wedge it was served with.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - JUL 22, 2010
My Bottom Line:
The usual cloves and bananas garnish this Weizen’s round body, sculpting a fine summer brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A ring of foam circles the cloudy milky yellow.
-This was served with a lemon wedge, already inserted in the glass... How sad when there’s plenty of flavour already.
-This might have been on the sweet side of what I prefer in the style.
-Wheat offers lots of flavours throughout.
On tap at the brewpub.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 tmoreau (1626) - Lombard, Illinois, USA - JUN 18, 2010
On tap at the Main St. Station brewpub as Special Hefeweizen, sporting a cloudy straw/light golden color, and persistent white foam to a head that finally reduced to a ring and film, but left some thick, ribbony lacing. The nose was light grain, candy banana peanuts, and some spice. The flavor was similar, with a light body, fresh and sessionable nature, but less effervescence than I prefer in a hefe.
