Citra, Centennial and Chinook hops are the standouts in this 6.2% ABV, 68 IBU ale. Light in color, BIG in citrus, grapefruit and passion fruit hop aroma and flavor. You hopheads won’t want to miss this one. I’m looking at you, Trappist Ales Rule.

Soft pale straw yellow pour with one finger of white head. Soft citrusy nose. Green and leafy hops with a slight onion component. Green in the flavor and a tad grassy. Strong bitterness/astringent. Very nice upfront but it becomes a little homebrew-ish.

16 oz. can. Poured hazy deep gold with creamy white head, tons of thick lace. Flavor is orange, peach, tangerine up front. Transitions to pine resin with bitter end. Pleasant surprise. The can art is obnoxious.

Bought a year old $5 bottle by accident. Maybe not a fair review. Tons of carbonation. Orange pour. Malty citrus. Still holding up ok.

12 ounce can from Beer Study. Slightly hazy golden, large foamy off-white head. Good retention. Aroma of dank, citrus, piney hops. The taste is piney, resin, dank, citrus hops, hints of grainy malt. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness.

Bottle thanks to Ethan! Pours a slightly hazy orangish gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of citrus and passion fruit with some underlying sweet grains. Flavor is more grapefruit forward with a bit of earthy passion fruit and citrus backing as well as a touch of grain.

Draft at 5 Church Restaurant in Charlotte, 11/19/14
This was a solid IPA. Not a total standout in the style, but it has a good citrus hop aroma and flavor. There’s a floral component as well. I much preferred this to the Baby Maker, and after one of those, drank these for the rest of the evening.

Slightly malty, hoppy, bitter. Has a malty smell for an ipa. Had a draft pour at the tin roof in Charlotte. Pours Orange in color with a white head ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A resiny good piney American IPA. High alphas in here for sure. Juicy citrus throughout with a middling bitter finish. Nice solid light malt backbone with plenty of toffee gives the hops a firm foundation to work upon. Long fir tree finish.
