Ready to take it to the next level? This DIPA is fueled by hop flavor and aroma with enough bitterness to back the big malt body. Enjoy responsibly, this oneís aptly named.

Pours soft peachy amber with one finger of sandy tan head. Piney nose and very sharp flavor. Super bitter and astringent. Some peach and peanut hull notes with some pretty serious diacetyl.

On tap at BottleMixx. Pours a clear amber. Mild aroma. Crisp mild taste. Could have a few of these in one sitting. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear dark orange with small light brown foam head. Aroma is very hoppy and real bitter taste. Lasting aftertaste. (Houston 201310)

Bomber from Appalachian Vintner shared at the Baltimore Late Late Summer Gathering, 9/14/13. Pours a very dark bronze color with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of earthy, dank, resin hops, raw grain, caramel. The taste is bitter resin, pine, herbal hops. Caramel malts with a bit of toastiness. Medium bodied, strong lingering bitterness, fairly raw and green but a solid DIPA.

bottle, from Beer Study, Chapel Hill. ok aroma, sweet, hints of peach/apricot. more of resin/pine thing, beginnings of oxidization. Tad hazed, brownish orange color, ok head and lace. Sweet flavor. thick body, creamy oily mouthfeel, bitter finish. eh, donít know if itís what they were going for or this bottle was heading south. aroma, seemed malty for a IIPA. really does nothing to make me want a nother bottle, though Iíd try it on draft sometime.

Bomber from the brewery. whoa, score of 51 on this? Maybe the bottles turned out better than the other batches? this wasnít a fantastic IIPA, but itís quite serviceable. The aroma has a bitter pine quality, missing some of the character that one would get from dry-hopping, but thereís no off-notes. Pretty basic malty sweetness and stock hops. The palate is medium, average for the style. Lots of bitterness and a little hop definition with piney notes and stray grapefruit. Pretty clean overall, decently hoppy just not enough actual depth for the style.

Aurelius (3908) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAY 7, 2013
Mostly clear, light brown, beady bone head; bad label. Malty-hoppy aroma without being too aggressive. Mellow, woody, not too fruity, sturdy bittering. ABV apparent. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel, bitter starchy finish. Thanks, LuckyDog.

Poured red-orange with a minimal off-white head. Maintained excellent lacing throughout the glass. The aroma was comprised of sweet malt, pine, pine hop, earth, and spicy hop. The flavor was of sweet malt, pine, pine hop, earth, earth hop, and skunky hop.

This was a great beer, one that I have been lucky enough to have both on draft and in bottle. Only about a month or so before my second son was born I found out about this beer and had to get it. Luckly the Beer Study in Chapel Hill had it on tap! Later soon after my son was born Bottle Revolution got bottles of it! I should have gotten more only nabbed 2. Cheers to all those new momís and dadís out there, this is the beer for you!
