4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 corkyrory66 (258) - BELGIUM - MAY 26, 2012

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Martinus (1878) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 21, 2012
Clear, yellow golden colour, firm fluffy white head. Aroma of malts, light fruity hops, candy sugar, quite spicy. Malty sweet flavour, light apple. Dry, fruity finish, slighlty sweet.
Decent tripel, though not the most outspoken tripel around.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 rand (1020) - SWITZERLAND - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle 33 cl from Willems - Grobbendonk (B). Golden Triple effervescent with a thick white foam lacing the glass. Soft fruity aromas, malt, complex, notes of orange, lemon and spices. 3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DruncanVeasey (6179) - NUNEATON, Blue Square Premier, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - APR 28, 2012
Erm, thought I’d rated this?? Bottle from under the stairs. Clear orange-gold with a fine white collar. Pleasantly soapy, perfumed aroma with coriander, orange jelly, almond, apricot and orange rind hints. Alcohol heat and pepperiness apparent; more orange rind tang, overripe pear, biscuity pale malt base; some rubbery, palinka-like booze. Ordinary, a little bit hot and industrial, but not without merit. Thinking man’s trampagne.
