COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triple d’Anvers is the brewery’s homage to its native Antwerp. A full-bodied triple, which is easy to drink. It is a top-fermented beer, with a blonde to light amber colour. The fruity flavour and the subtle interaction between Pale malt and Caramel malt. No spices were added. A delicious symphony of malts and Saaz hops. Slightly sweet start striking a nice balance between hop-bitter and fruitiness. A fresh sparkling beer thanks to the refermentation in the bottle.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with fizzy white head. Light cloves and yeast, sweet grains and a light grassy finish. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. Uncomplicated and quite drinkable.

Bottle at home. Unclear dark yellow golden with white head. Very sweet malts, banana and later tangerine, coriander, cloves, Belgian yeast, mealy doughiness, some alcoholic spiciness, hoppy bitterness. Medium sweet, light bitter. Medium body, light carbonation. Too sweet for my liking otherwise an ok middle of the road tripel.

Donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht zoet en bitter hoppig, fruitig met iets van citrus. Mooie fijne balans in smaak. Drinkt makkelijk weg.

33cl - nose is toast, funk and booze. Sweet to the nose. Sweet and grassy. I understand the low rating as I expect more from this style. A little harsh.

Bottle at home. Pours amber-orange with some fluffy sediment and a thin head. Aroma: bready yeast and some funky hop. Taste is slightly sweet with some bitter balance. Juicy malt base with tastes of vanilla and butterscotch. The finish is dry and carbonation is overall medium. A bit sweet, but smooth and not bad.

Drank 12-3-16 after the Dennett lecture with my father and sister in the restaurant (Draaiom or something like that). Okay beer, not bad for a triple. Has some tate, alcohol, pretty malty.

Draft @Westerpaviljoen, Rotterdam. Clear orange gold, stable head. A: light spice, light lemon, malts. T: fruity, light raspberry and lemon, malts, reminds of a malty La Chouffe. Dry finish.

Ok belgian beer but not a big deal. Not too hoppy, easy fruty. Not a tripel rather a belgian strong ale.
