Triple d’Anvers is the brewery’s homage to its native Antwerp. A full-bodied triple, which is easy to drink. It is a top-fermented beer, with a blonde to light amber colour. The fruity flavour and the subtle interaction between Pale malt and Caramel malt. No spices were added. A delicious symphony of malts and Saaz hops. Slightly sweet start striking a nice balance between hop-bitter and fruitiness. A fresh sparkling beer thanks to the refermentation in the bottle.

Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer has a light blonde color and a small white head, CO2 level is average. In the aroma tones of herbs and fruits (a little citrus like). The taste starts dry, fresh, a little creamy and a sparkling character by the fermentation. The finish is long and dry with light bitters. Not a very special tripel, I know better ones.

Malts, caramel, hops, yeast, Belgian fruit and spices.

Slightly turbid golden/amber beer with an off-white/white head.

Begins moderate/heavy sweet with malts, caramel and spices; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and fruit.

(Bottle, Antwaerps Bierhuyske, Antwerpen, 15 Oct 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple and floral hops. Malty, fruity taste with tropical fruit, dried pineapple, candy sugar and a gentle floral bitterness. Almost full body, quite sweet. Fresh and tasty tripel, possibly a touch too sweet. Quite nice.

F: average white, not long lasting. C: gold to amber, hint of hazy. A: mostly orange/lemon peels, grassy hops, yeasty. T: smooth grassy/floral hoppy bitterness, citrusy peels, malt, quite yeasty, red apples, medium body, average carbo, very good in my opinion, underrated, try it.

Bottle 330ml (from BBF, BB 06/2017)
Orange color, small white head, lace. Some pineapple and peach in the fruity nose. Medium to even full-bodied. Saaz hops are there, fruity pineapple-peachy flavor, kind of worty feeling. Certainly different De Koninck as it is not clinical as the most of them. Even homebrewish feeling. Probably this one has more/freshier Saaz than some other batches (after seeing other ratings).

Bottle @ brouwplus beurs. Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Honey like aroma, sweet malts. Rather sweet, bit out of balance, definitely bores quickly.
