COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triple d’Anvers is the brewery’s homage to its native Antwerp. A full-bodied triple, which is easy to drink. It is a top-fermented beer, with a blonde to light amber colour. The fruity flavour and the subtle interaction between Pale malt and Caramel malt. No spices were added. A delicious symphony of malts and Saaz hops. Slightly sweet start striking a nice balance between hop-bitter and fruitiness. A fresh sparkling beer thanks to the refermentation in the bottle.

Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis in Utrecht. The beer has a light blonde color and a small white head, CO2 level is average. In the aroma tones of herbs and fruits (a little citrus like). The taste starts dry, fresh, a little creamy and a sparkling character by the fermentation. The finish is long and dry with light bitters. Not a very special tripel, I know better ones.

Sweet, caramel, fruity; besides that rather weak actually. On top of that it is too sweet for my taste. Not a bad beer, but I would advise to taste another beer.

17/06/2016 @ De Chalet, Berchem Sport. Clear blond with nice thick white head. Nose is nothing much. Lively carbonation. Taste is hints of pepper, lemon, sweet, but all in small amounts. Bit boring.

Bottle of 33cl, in a Trappist glass ; from the fridge. Ok beer, usual taste. We’re in front of the usual blond belgian strong ale. Try it, but not at full price.

Bottle at home. Clear golden with fizzy white head. Light cloves and yeast, sweet grains and a light grassy finish. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation. Uncomplicated and quite drinkable.
