Bottle shared by a friend. Clear amber pour with a thick beige head. Light fruit and malty nose with some caramel. Malty and caramelly flavor with a bit of fruit before a sweet finish. Didn’t taste overly boozy for a big beer.

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing a bottle. Pours a hazy dark brownish-amber color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt, fruit and caramel. Full-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, roasted nuts and dark fruit. The finish is sweet with a lingering earthy malty aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Pours a hazy orange/brown with a substantial off white head. Aroma is peanut brittle. Taste is a mouthcoating sweet caramel maltiness, toffee and butter. Alcohol is assertive but balances well. Good stuff.

Dark ruby read with a creamy beige head. Aroma is Bready, toasted, caramel malts, butterscotch. Medium bodied with a decent amount of carbonation smothered in syrupy smoothness. Flavor is sweet malty, bready, butterscotch, caramel, and lightly toasted. Pretty solid Scottish ale but maybe a tad on the sweet side. Good stuff.

Sweet aroma leads into a smoky swwet flavor the whole way through. Thick, smooth mouthfeel with a burnt sugar finish. Good example of the style and a good effort froma young brewery
