Dark brown in color. Nose of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Taste of same, almost chocolate truffle, with a hint of vanilla. Very sweet flavors.

Can’t drink more than a little of this, but it is great. Deep copper pour. Aroma reminds me of bread pudding. Vanilla, hazelnut, chocolate. Taste follows nose with a little alcohol. Great stuff.

Bottle… RBSG 2014This beer rocks!… Pours new-penny copper with a small, creamy, off-white head. Decent retention. The aroma is a luxuriant intermingling of vanilla, hazelnut and chocolate crème. Full-bodied with a velvety mouthfeel and soft carbonation. The flavor is a mélange of hazelnut, chocolate crème and cream soda. Heaps of vanilla and a healthy measure of alcohol in here as well. The alcohol is smooth and warming, not annoying. World class beer here!

Bottle @ RBSG 2014: (Thanks DrSilverworm) Pours a clean brown hue okay head. Big hazelnut and toffee vapours with a hint of milk chocolate malt balls and some dark fruit as well. A tad boozy and aggressive on the palate with a lot of sugary and nutty goodness. A first I was taken back by this but I ended up liking it (but did wished it was more around 7-8%)

Bottle - Sweet hazelnut and chocolate, think Malt Teaser. Clear maroon with a chocolate head. Tastes just as it smells. Fun desert beer.

Let’s get into it! This thing is difficult to get a handle on. Heavy on the booze and the hazelnut overtones. Chickow is over-the-top! It doesn’t fire all cylinders, but it is a nice attempt--unique as hell. The malty tones are great to contemplate.

Bottle: pours a dark mahogany with a small light tan head. Aromas are so nice... Hazelnut fruit and chocolate... The taste hits my tounge perfectly... Strong hazelnut, and sweet chocolate. It sits in your mouth perfect... It goes down way too fast... So good!

Tasted on 2/8/14 from a capped 650mL bomber bottle at the Saturday night post-grand-tasting-tasting at RBWG Asheville. Pours clear cola with an average beige head that leaves a thin collar of lace. The nose is white chocolate covered raisin with some caramel and a touch of nutty malt. The flavor is that very unique white chocolate covered raisin with a lightly bitter toasted note and, caramel, and nutty malt. The body is full with light carbonation and a long toasted nutty, caramel, and raisin finish.
