This is a great barrel aged brew out of Cinci. I’m sure this one would only get better with age. Enjoy!

Bottle: I love this beer. It’s sweet, but with a beautiful solid backbone of spice and coffee that fills the mouth with flavors. Great beer... can’t wait to try it with some age on it to see how it changes.

Sample at The Brass Tap during Cincinnati Beer Week. Pours brownish-black with a medium foamy beige head that dissipates steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, malt and coffee. Full-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, oaky bourbon, vanilla and coffee. The finish is oaky with a vanilla coffee aftertaste. Solid beer all around.

UPDATED: JAN 24, 2015 Bottle pour opaque brown. Nose roast and coffee. Taste coffee, roast, some chocolate. Smooth mouthfeel, Pleasing roasty finish. Upon drinking an entire bottle myself, great roast, coffee, vanilla flavors. Very pleasing throughout. Big coffee. Barrel adds nice complexity and doesn’t overpower.
