Cask; Status uncertain.
A Pale amber coloured beer with aromas of orange, grapefruit and subtle elderflower that lead you into a beer that is bright and refreshing. Citrus fruits dominate the flavour then gentle elderflower returns along with a slow, lingering bitterness.

Cask. Goldeny amber with a small white head. Aroma is caramel, some mild herbal and earthy notes along with quite nice zesty notes as well. Flavour is floral, some berries, mild earth as well as some sweet maltiness as well. Kind of a mix between a bitter and golden ale as for the elements in it.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A slightly hazy, golden amber pour with a thin, loose, white head; floral aroma; crisp grapefruit bitterness immediately, then giving way to a softer , sweeter, citrusy body; finishing with a further, lasting, bitter kick with a fresh floral edge. A refreshing and enjoyable summer beer.

Cask conditioned at Far From the Madding Crowd, Oxford. Gold with slight white head. There was a toffee caramel note at the start of this beer, malty slightly sweet. I didn’t really get an Elder flower note coming through. It was just a light, thin beer. Slightly dull.

Cask @ OT. Pours clear golden with a frothy white head that leaves some thick lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and malty with bread, lemon zest, grass and orange zest. Taste is sweet and bitter with bread, lemony soap, lemon peal, orange zest, grass and elderflowers. Mouthfeel is slightly crisp, slightly watery, tiny astringent, slightly flat and light bodied. Finish is bitter and herbal with lemon peal, wood, elderflowers, grass and hints of bread.

Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Clear golden beer with a bubbly off white head. Fruity grassy aroma, pear, citrus, pineapple, peach, lemongrass, caramel notes, some elderflowers, plum, mango. Hoppy floral flavor, elderflowers, peppery, pine, caramel, apricot, grapefruit, hay, pine, mango, some citrus. Hugely refreshing and lots of flavors considering the low ABV.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 9 Sep 2012) Golden colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with biscuits, a touch of elderflower and citric hops. Fruity, slightly malty taste with notes of citrus, elderflower, biscuity malt and a dry finish with a generous citric bitterness. Quite thin body, mainly dry. Nice, tasty and refreshing.

Cask. Didn’t pay much attention to this. Overall quite malty, fruity in profile, with some spicy hop notes, a faint sour touch from the elderberries, a dab of caramel. Quite light in both body and bitterness, appropriately low carbonation. Rather drinkable, not much to write home about. (2012-09-17)
