Draft @ Akkurat. Pours golden with a white head. Quite anonymous aroma. Very refreshing beer with a nice long pilsener-like bitterness. Smooth. I would like to drink a few of this in the sun.

(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with citrus, apricots, lemon peel and freshly cut grass. Fruity taste with notes of citrus, apricots, biscuity malt, grapefruit and a generous citrussy bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, with just a touch of sweetness. Fresh, tasty and highly drinkable. Nice one.

maeib (8664) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - MAY 26, 2011
Cask conditioned handpump Evening Star Brighton. A golden beer with a white head and lacing. A spritzy fruity nose with good citrus notes but just a touch of fart leads to a nicely balanced taste with the fruits dominating. Tasty.

[Cask at the Monk’s Retreat, Reading] Deep gold, moderate white head. Creamy mouthfeel. Some lemon and malted milk biscuit, with a dusty hop bitterness. On the bland side. A pretty standard English golden ale.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber with a dense cream head and a citrus aroma; the flavour has a sharp citrus kick to start and then a sweet grainy body; there is a grapefruit bitterness to finish. A refreshing summer ale.
