3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy amber; potent dry hop aroma; wonderfully leafy, foresty hops and lingering bitterness. Damn fine, well worthy of its third-place finish at the 2002 Champion Beer of Britain.

Picked up at bar 3 NWAF, handpulled cask, half shared with Finn. Nice to look at with a deep, amber-gold body, no head, shiny surface. Smooth grapefruit nose added by dried fruits. Grapefruit and fresh apricot together with nut-like malts. Rounded, half-dry bitter finish. Tasty Brit bitter (Manchester, 24.01.2013).
