(Cask@HBF2006) Dark reddish brown color with a Caramely-toffeeish, vineous aroma with a hint of sourness. Slightly papery but vineous flavor with dryish maltiness and dried fruit hints. Light to medium-bodied, low-carbonated palate. Yeah, yeah...

Merton Summer Beer Festival July 2005. A very dark mild, quite hoppy but with a nice flavour a little bit of fruit and quite dry.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] An opaque brown beer with a small tan head. The aroma is sweet and roasted, with some notes of coffee, while the flavor is sweet roasted with a bitter coffee finish. Great flavor.

Gravity cask at Blakes, Dover. Normally one of my favourite milds, but this was a bit thin. Not sure how long it had been tapped as the landlord said that although customers had asked for a mild to be on most of the time, it was not selling that fast. Shame really as this is a good mild

Sweet, boring though a little bit hoppy. Lakcs colour and flavour. Perfectly drinkable, but not a great mild.

Dark brown with a roasted aroma. Full bodied for its strength. Caramel and chocolate dominates with a slight burnt character. Nice and long dry aftertaste

Cask conditioned at the 32nd Cambridge Beer Festival, gravity dispense. One of the craziest beer names so far - chris_o told me itís adopted from a Cream song (I guess I should have known that). Dark brown colour, low head, some natural carbonation. According to the CBF programme itís "a little too hoppy to be a classic mild" - still it is not VERY hoppy, just the typical Southern English dusty hoppiness. Aroma and flavour are malty with some caramel (but not really sweet), some cola notes.
