Drank this as Deugniet. From bottle, so hard to tell color, but it was foaming quite heavenly. Nice bitter taste of a Belgium tripel, and so was aroma. Hoppy, with slight caramel and fruits. Quite nice aftertaste, more bitter then bittersweet. (Amsterdam 201210)

From a 25cl bottle, drunk in a flared tulip glass. A lot of yeast among a cloudy light orange beer with a nice white foam. Smell in interesting with a lot of character and some alcohol hints, taste is nice with green fruits aromas (apple first, peer...), biterness is not too strong but still remaining with lemon taste behind, and hops are discrete but undoubtedly present. Not a great beer, but something interesting with these particular green fruits tastes...

Trappist1 (349) - Diest, BELGIUM - APR 4, 2014
From tap @ Delirium. Clear golden color with a creamy white head. Nose: very malty, citrus, the typical belgian yeast flavors, tad metallic. Taste: malts, malts, pretty straight forward. Some fruitiness. Very dry, tripel dry. very sweet initially, but gets a bitter touch in the end. Long finish. Overall very typical belgian tripel, technical correct, used to like this one but after some years, it does not beat average anymore.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. Bière équilibrée au nez d'agrume. Alcool présent mais pas trop. Caractère belge typique.
