UPDATED: JAN 9, 2007 Bottle, vintage tastning @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Head large frothy and white which mostly lasted. Good lacing to be observed. Body was clear and sparkling. Color was light corn yellow. Aroma was flowers, perfume, citrus, sweat, leather soap, light alcoholic, banana, bubble gum, spices and coriander. Medium bodied with a sticky like texture. Light sweet and moderated bitter flavor with an average lasting finish. Reasonable complex I thought, but not the greatest Tripel.

Bottle at Olivier in Utrecht, under name Deugniet - great marketing. Pours a light amber, massive white frothy head. Nose is hoppy and yeast; taste is slightly bitter but more fruity, apple. Medium bitter finish. Lovely beer and will seek it out.

0,33L bottle, BB 03.01.2015. Pours clear amber with off white head. The head stays. Aroma is sour, fresh fruits, apples, yeast, spices, and wheat. Taste is sweet, fresh fruits, spices, yeast, and malt. Finish is fruity with some alcohol. Overall: very nice brew.

Colour: bright gold. Firm white head. Nose: fruity (pear, lemon, mandarin). Some vanilla and bread. Hints of suagry sweetness. Flavours: sweet, candy sugar and apple. Hints of dry hops. Raisins. Finish: medium, alcohol comes to the surface, vague notes of nuts and cereal. Verdict: avarage Tripel. Okay to drink if you’re not paying too much attention.
