3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2007 Bottle, vintage tastning @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Copenhagen. Head large frothy and white which mostly lasted. Good lacing to be observed. Body was clear and sparkling. Color was light corn yellow. Aroma was flowers, perfume, citrus, sweat, leather soap, light alcoholic, banana, bubble gum, spices and coriander. Medium bodied with a sticky like texture. Light sweet and moderated bitter flavor with an average lasting finish. Reasonable complex I thought, but not the greatest Tripel.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
As Deugniet. Cloudy orange to amber, big creamy white head, leaving laces; yeasty nose with fruity and spicy notes, some caramel, floral, citrus; creamy mouthfeel, medium body, light mouthfeel; sweet fruity and spicy taste, apple, light bitterness in background; long bitter and spicy finish. Not bad but there are better tripels.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Light golden body, big lasting creamy white head. Yeasty aroma with sugars, spice, pears and blackcurrant, warm taste of candi sugar, ripe fruit, spices. Easy palate, light bitterness behind the sweet stuff. Lightheaded malty finish, but still a pleasant beer.

Drank as ’deugniet’. Very much carbonation. However, the taste is not that awesome, not that special.

Drank as "Deugniet". Fruity aroma of mostly apple and a bit of orange peel. Some herbs as well. Medium sweet and moderate bitterness. A very pleasant tripel I shall definitely revisit.

Pours a golden unclear beer with a good white head. Smells sweet and a bit metalic. Tastes sweet and also metalic. Fizzy carbo, medium body and a sticky texture.

Blond biertje, fijne schuimkraag die snel verdwijnd. Lekker fris biertje. Lijkt een beetje op een licht witbier. Ruikt zurig.
