On tap at the brewery. Mostly clear reddy copper coloured pour with a lasting thin greyish cream coloured head. Aroma is roasted coffee, toasted brown bread, nice rounded toasted grains. Hint of powdered choc on the nose. Flavour is composed of grainy, toasted brown bread, stale coffee, bitter roast , light strawberry jam. Palate is semi sweet, grain tannin, moderate to high carbonation. Decent.

On draft at the brewpub. It pours an orange/brown color with an off white head. The aroma has a little coffee and cocoa with some toast. The flavor is dry and toasty with coffee and just a hint of caramel sweetness. Light bodied and pretty sessionable. Nice little brown ale.

A very nice brown. Pours a beautiful deep red with a thick tan head. Smells like hazelnut. Taste is extremely creamy, can feel it down my throat. Nice sweet milky finish. Had on tap at the brewery. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A - Pours a dark ruby-brown with a finger of frothy white head. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel and bready malts with some fruity English yeast, and some nuttiness. T - Starts off with a mix of sweet caramel malts with some dark fruit English yeast flavor and a touch of bitterness. Through the middle, some nuttiness come through with some bready malts and a bit more English yeast character. The finish is a mix of sweet bready malts with some nuttiness, dark fruit, and English yeast. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a sweet and lightly bitter finish. D - Very drinkable. Really nice sessionability with great flavors and balance.
