3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Brown beer with an off-white head. Toasty, nutty, light caramel aroma. Light caramel flavor with light mineral and a light sourness. Medium bodied. Earthiness and sour notes linger with a a light caramel, nuttiness, and light mineral notes. Not as good as the 6.4% beer.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hmmm, @ the brewery as Bill Brand Brown, not sure if they made another beer after this guy (he was popular around here, and was at Triple Rock the day before the accident for the sour ale fest) but regardless, this version was a bit watered down at 4.2%. This beer should be a 6.4% as my main complaint is that is was watered down...even in appearance. Bill will be missed. This beer? meh.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark brown with almost no head. Sweet malty aroma. Mild roasted grain and nutty taste with a light bodied palate. Decent if fairly straight forward.
