3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap @! Triple Rock poured a clear dark brown nearly black with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of coffee, roasted malt and bitter chocolate. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of coffee, roasted malt and a hint of chocolate with a smooth roasty finish.
Too much coffee and roastiness for a true Schwarzbier it was very tasty none the less!

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very smoky, almost tastes of liquid smoke. A bit thin with metal coming threw on the middle. Schwartzbiers usually catch me off guard. This one seemed right on for style plus a little smoky. Crisp and has a good taste, but not that great.

Dark brown with a creamy tan head. Toasty grainy aroma and tasted with roasted malt notes.
