2008 Vintage keg on tap at Beer Revolution (listed as 9.5% abv). Pours with a clear garnet brown hue with a minimal tan head. Great lace. Huge notes of brown sugar, burnt marzipan, molasses, cherry, sherry, cereal, bready with some melanodins and oxidized hops. Flavors show some noticeable but pleasant oxidation, decently bitter, oxidized hops, dark fruits, dried fruits (cherries), coconut, sherry, medium alcohol flavors. Dates. Very pleasant. Viscous mouthfeel and warming. Full bodied with light carbonation.

On tap at Triple Rock. Pours ruddy brown with no head. Nice aroma of nuts, wood, chocolate, light bourbon yet noticeable, and hints of maple syrup. The flavor has lots of cherries, chocolate, raisins, and light bourbon presence. Its a little tart in the middle due to the big cherry influence. The maple and nuts come through before an alcoholic finish. Mouthfeel is thick and only lightly carbed.

Draft. Rich mahogony beer with a dark cream colored head. Sweet malt aroma with light earth, and light hops. Malt flavor with light hops and light earth. Medium-plus bodied. Hops are nicely backing with increased bitterness. Malt lingers with bitter piney/earthy hops. Well balanced agressive barleywine

Sampled at Toronado 2009 Barleywine Festival.
Pours deep clear copper with tan head and spotty lacing. The aroma consists of figs, fruit cake, saffron, a hint of ginger and a background of sweet malts. The taste is much the same with rich malty sweetness mixing with the odd winter spice mix. Interesting. The dark fruity esters rise up midway with raisins, cherries and plums. The raisins approach having a peppery sensation at the finish. Nice stuff.
