A - Served a clear golden-orange color with a half finger of frothy white head. The head fades down slowly leaving behind some good lace. S - Aroma is a mix of sweet caramel and biscuit malts with some light pine hops. T - Starts off with some sweet caramel and biscuit malts with some pine hop. Through the middle, some more hop flavor comes through with some bitterness and a bit more biscuit flavor. The finish is a mix of grassy hop with some bitterness and sweet caramel malts. M - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Feels smooth with a crisp and lightly dry finish. D - Very drinkable. Very nicely balanced Pale Ale. The beer is very crisp and refreshing.

Draft @ Beer Revolution. Pours a bright, clear, golden-orange color; fine-bubbled white head with solid lacing. Juicy citrus (orange and grapefruit) hops in the aroma; a touch hollow and papery at the core, but engaging; seemingly some nice Amarillo in there. Medium body; moderate CO2; some modest acidity; juicy, bitter orange and citrus presence at the core, nice and fresh; a quiet, candied core that melds well with the juicy orange note; seamless, hugely drinkable pale ale. Medium-length finish: lightly toasty, lingering orange bitterness; lightly dry.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours with a mostly clear golden body with a small white head that mostly lasts. Aromas are citrusy, grassy and grainy with hints of pineapple. Flavors are earthy, grainy, dry, citrus, grass, pine and lightly herbal. Very lively bubbles, dry, medium bodied, no astringencies.

A: The pour is a slightly hazed golden/straw color with a finger of white head. S: Some citrus and grassy hop aroma to begin with. The rest of the nose is a bready and somewhat biscuity malt aroma. Not overly complex, but it’s a pale ale. And at least it’s clean. T: A moderate bitterness which works well for a pale ale. A nice bread malt base to the beer with a touch of floral, citrus, and slightly grassy hops. M: The body is medium with a moderate level of carbonation. D: Looking at the previous review, it appears they’ve improved this beer in the past couple years. I found it to be refreshing and easy to drink.

Draft. A hazy light golden beer with a lazing thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and citrus fruits, leading to a dry and bitter finish, where a note of hay appears.
