On tap at Triple Rock. It pours orange with a white head. The aroma is like sweet hop candy with tropical fruit and pine. Some malts come through along with some phenolics. The flavor is potent with alcohol, oranges, caramel, pine and a bit of pine-sol spiciness. The mouthfeel is pretty thick with a huge bitter finish. Seems to be a tad more potent and thicker with more prominent malt profile than their excellent IIMAX.

Pours golden amber with no head. HUGE floral, pine and grassy nose and flavor. A medium full mouthfeel. Decent bitterness and dryness in the finish.

Draft. Amber beer with a light cream colored head. Herbal, light grapefruit and pine aroma. Pine, herbal and citrus flavor with light earth and malt. Medium-plus bodied. Nice bitterness. Pine, herbal notes, citrus, and light tropical fruit lingers with caramel and light earthiness.

Huge, dense beige head over foxy orange beer. Incense, laurel & C-hops, drying out fast to dry hopbales, cray and corndust. Some caramel too, finishing on mandarinepeel aroma. Intense hops, but tempered by caramelly malts. Again mandarine/tangerine, or grapefruitpeel. Carpetfelt, cray too, stressing the dryness. Retronasal some rosewater. Slick, even sticky (without becoming sweet!), hopoils, discreet alcohol, full-bodied. Quite good IIPA, well-balanced as main feature; but missing the overwhelming, pure Ahoperlebnis the Harvest Ale gave me - more one to sip. I was so impressed with the Harvest Ale, that I immediately went onto this one, meant for the next day, really. Thanks very much, Rodger!

Hazy orange with a fizzy white head. Huge hoppy nose with notes of caramel, grain, citrus, grass, and straw and a similar taste that’s full of resin and kicks you in the teeth.
