Tap. Cloudy amber-golden color with a small white head. Smells hoppy, sweet, and floral. Tastes about the same with a strange, slightly skunked aftertaste. Bitter and refreshing.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2007 Wonderful IPA if you can catch it very fresh on-tap at the brewery in Berkeley. I was lucky enough to taste all of Triple Rock’s taps one afternoon, and this one was my favorite. Nice complex flowery hop flavours, with enough grain sweetness shining through to balance things out. A nice tasty full body. One of Triple Rock’s best offerings. Re-rate because it fluctuates too much. Still good though

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft. Copper color with a big off-white head. Huge grapefruit aroma. Big pine tar/resin flavor smoothed by some citrus. Simcoe hops and tons of them. Could use a little smoothing around the edges, but if you like simcoe, you’ll like this.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Quite dark for an IPA, deep amber, almost brown in color. Nice offwhite head sits on top. Aroma is of course hoppy with cascades. Flavor is much the same way but balanced and smooth. Nice IPA.
