Draft @ Blue Palms, Hollywood. Golden color, nice hue, scant head. Nicely bright and fruity, with chewy hop aroma. Pine and cedar. Quaffable with long bitter finish. Very hoppy, nice and refreshing brew. Would hit the spot in some situations.

On tap at Drakes. 3.7% 70ibu (and the hops are not brittish). By Nor Cal Bitter, they mean something to compete with the San Diego Session beers, and this does well! Pours with a clear, pale golden body with a foamy white head. Aroma is hugely hoppy, quite dank, fruity, citrus, weed, tropical fruit and grapefruit zest in the purest form. A bit bready. Flavors show minimal bitterness, but huge hop flavors. Citrus zest, grapefruit and weed. Tons of dry hop character (the miracle of late and dry hopping) with some fining agents. Light pine notes, only a lightly bitter balance. All hops. Lively bubbles, bone dry and very tasty. Awesome!

Oakes (12789) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - SEP 6, 2011
Golden and slightly hazy. Has a gentle hoppiness and fruity yeast note. Hard body, lots of English bitterness. Good balance with a crisp, dry finish. Starts English in character but gets American at the end.

On tap at Beer Revolution. Pours golden with a decent off-white head and a pine aroma. There is a robust caramel malt flavor with lots of hop bitterness. A nice session beer.

Clear bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Huge hop resin and pine aroma with an oily palate and a huge bitter vegetal bite with tons of resin and pine.

Tasted at the Breast Fest in Fort Mason, SF. This pours a light yellow golden color with a small white head. The aroma is powerfully hoppy with lots of grapefruit, tangerines, and a hint of grass. The flavor is the same and very dry. It has a watery palate, but thats to be expected in a low ABV bitter. Overall, very flavorful and well done.

Draft. Golden/straw colored beer with an off-white head. Grapefruit and summer fruit aroma. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with light grain. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and summer fruit lingers with light grain and light astringency.
