Pours a slightly cloudy golden orange with a sticky white head. Heavy grapefruit and line aromas to this one with a light herbal note to it. Some hints of bready malt in the background, maybe some biscuit. A nice citrus bite to it with plenty of pine. Some slight sweetness and a little bit of floral hop character.

One of the best IPA’s that I have had. Classic hops, simple grist, great flavor. Easy drinking, but with nice golden sugary malts to both carry and not get in the way of the hops. Julian and Rodger, nice work. (if you read this)

Draft. Golden-amber beer with a whitish head. Pine and earthy aroma with lots of grapefruit. Grapefruit and summer fruit flavor with light pine, light earth, and some backing malt. Medium bodied. Nice bitterness. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light malt, earth, and some summer fruit.

On tap at Beachwood--actually the reason we made the trek down here, seeing Julian and Rodger’s name on it. Clear amber golden with a small off-white head, fair retention. Orange zest and pulp up front with some resiny pine and light tropical fruits. Flavor follows suit with lots of fruity hoppiness and backing pine. Light caramel backbone, just enough to the sweetness body and some light sweetness. Dry finish with bitterness at a 5. Burps citrus and perfumey hops. Light smooth carbonation with a medium creamy body. Very tasty West Coast IPA that lived up to the hype in my mind.

Clear dark yellow with a fizzy white head. Good strong citrus grapefruit aroma and taste with some pine notes and a sweet bread finish.
