Draft. Dark ruby-brown beer with a tan head. Malt and cocoa aroma. malt and light nutty flavor with cocoa and backing hops. Medium bodied. Cocoa and nuts linger with malt and balanced hops.

Tap at triple rock. Clear medium dark reddish brown with a small beige head, low retention. Toasty nutty nose with some light aspect hops behind, light bitter chocolate. Flavor is nice and toasty without getting any of that overbearing crappy caramel and toffee blah that usually happens with browns and makes me sad. I did get just a hint of vanilla. Nice and dry, bitterness packed at a 2-3. Light carbonation with a light to medium body. A solid brown.

A good brown ale - on par with DFH’s IBA. Roasty aroma, just a little sweet, but nice and chocolate bitter. Finishes clean. Excellent.
