On tap at the brewpub pouring clear mahogany with thin nearly tan head. The mild aroma puts out some malt sweetness bleeding into ripe cherries and plums. The taste is a bit rough and raw but somehow still restrained. I get sweet thick malts, ripe bright cherries, plums and prunes to start. It then becomes a bit raisin like mixing with a malt sweet nuttiness. Into the finish the flavor picks up thin layers of pine hop bitterness too. Nice stuff that should become amazing with some cellar time to smooth it out.

On tap at Triple Rock poured a clear dark brown with a lasting amber head. Aromas of carmel, toffee, earthiness, pine, grapefruit and light orange. Palate was medium to full bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, toffee, orange, tropical fruit, pink grapefruit and pine with a smooth dry lingering bitter finish.

Nice ruby red brown color with a creamy tan head. Good aroma with the malts and hops competing with each other and some toffee notes. Tastes of caramel and toffee, but not very sweet, this has a lot of north west hop varieties giving it a lot citrus and pine character and a decent bitterness.
