2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft. Golden beer with a whitish head. Slight malt, slight spice aroma. Grassy, spicy flavor with a bit of malt sweetness backing. Lingering grassy bitterness. Easy to drink, but too much grass in this one for me.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
(Draft at brewery. 2005) A tasty pilsener in the bohemian style. Sulfury nose with spicy saaz hops in the background. Brilliant clear golden with head that can be built-up to last. Serves best in cold pilsner glasses ... Spicy saaz throughout carried on a great, malty backbone (but not overly sweet) supported by naturally soft, Northern California water.

A dark golden atypical for a pils, quick foam, sweet aroma, foamy atypical mouthfeel, very hoppy.
