Red Rock is a medium to full bodied American amber ale with a robust hop character, malty balance, and a slight roasty aftertaste. English caramel malt gives Red Rock its deep red amber color and malt flavor. Previously at 6.3%

SF Int’l Beer Fest - Not a bad bit of beer. Aroma had a roasty quality to it, but not over the top. It also had a slight hop nose to it too. Appearance had a reddish orange/amber hue to it. Mouthfeel was full bodied, not harsh in the least and clean finishing. Flavors were malty, slightly roasted and nicely bittered. Like I said, not bad.

Lightly hazy red ale with a creamy white head. Pleasant hops, grassy, and slightly smokey aroma. Nice crisp malt with good hops balance, nutty and pleasant. Medium bodied. Russian River Beer Revival & Barbecue Cook-Off, August 20, 2005.

Cloudy amber body with an off-white head that leaves nice lacing. Aroma is medium sweet, caramel, some grapefruit. Taste is the same. Medium body.

Draft. Reddish color with little head. Malt aroma. Malt and balanced hops with some roastiness and a bit of earthiness. Not much going on to inspire.

Malty aroma, good lacing, with minimal head. Slightly cloudy, deep amber color. The hops in this one really come out as the beer gets warmer.

A Medium bodied Amber. Slightly roasted malts. Fairly aggressively hopped. Good flavor. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Just a tad redder than the 2700, the exact cloudiness as well. Good head retention, malt in the nose, roasty, bitter, light medium effervescence with a touch of citrus. A very good beer.

Hoppier than most in this category, which jumps it above the pales and most reds. Nice nose and a decent bite, clean.
