Tap at Triple Rock. Hazy medium orange with a frothy one finger very light yellowish head, pretty decent retention. Slightly sulfuric aroma with some sweaty Cascade hops following. Flavor has a fair amount of lemon pulp added and isn’t as sweaty. I only get a tinge of the metallic notes that let me know this is a lager, otherwise the citric hops (not in the traditional sense--these are lemony as hell) drown out everything else. Finishes dry with bitterness at a 5, lightly earthy. Medium body, light carbonation. Didn’t really like this much--I appreciate the innovation, but sometimes styles shouldn’t be messed with.
