COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It is a dark amber colored, Full bodied strong ale. English caramel malt and Briess maltings special roast impart the color and heavy malt character. Previously at 7.1%

GABF 2007: Poured a clear amber color with an off-white head. Light fruit and chocolate make up the aroma. Milk chocolate flavor with toasty and nutty malt. medium body.

UPDATED: FEB 27, 2003 Tap. First rating (6,3,6,3,15) Amber color with a laced creamy head. Malty caramel. Not much fruit in this scotch ale, but a nice rich malty beer. Re-Rate (6,3,7,3,14) at the brewpub. Brown color with a tan head. Malty, caramel, wood, and a touch of fruit.
