A - Served a cloudy golden-orange color with a thin finger of frothy off-white head atop. The head fades down at a normal pace leaving behind some good lacing. S - Aroma is a mix of strong sweet wheat with some light spiciness and some booze coming through. T - Starts off with some strong wheat and grain with a bit of hop and spiciness alongside. Through the middle, some booze comes through with a bit more hop and spice character. The finish is a mix of more booziness, with some sweet wheat and grains alongside. M - Medium-full bodied with moderate carbonation. Smooth with a nice warming finish. D - Very drinkable. Not as full bodied as other wheatwines, but the flavors are nice and full and well balanced.

On tap at the brewpub. It pours hazy orange with a small white head. The aroma is candied fruit with some caramel. The flavor is thick and smooth with caramel and fruit. Alcohol is noticed on the back end. Good hop balance to the big sweet malt character sets this apart from most wheat wines. I don’t really like the style, but his is a good one.

Tasted on tap at the Pizza Port Strong Ale Festival 12/6/2008. This wheat wine pours dark to medium orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. The aroma is fruity and sweet, with some floral hops. A medium bodied wheat wine. The malts are grainy, fruity and sweet. The hops are floral and piney. Kind of sweet tasting, but balanced nicely by a whole bunch of hops. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.
