COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triple Voodoo Inception is based on a Belgian Tripel recipe but is distinctly different from other Trappist ales. Inception is bright and clear with a sharp alcohol note in the beginning and an added twist of black currant in the center of the flavor profile. The beer finishes clean and has a solid malty backbone. This unique flavor profile was achieved using a special hop varietal. The high hop load also makes it reminiscent of an IPA and gives it that unique California characteristics.

Bottle from South Bay Liquor: Created a thick fluffy layer of cake foam head where as the liquid was a dense neon yellow hue with a ton of sediment floating about. Aroma is mild and has a grassy malt or hop aroma that reminds me of an English blonde style or a can of Boddingtons pub ale. The flavor is refined and smooth with a grained malt and wheat flavor, but somehow reminds me of a farmhouse saison Belgian style.

Sampled on tap. A really nice brew that has a Belgian traditional flavoring in its undertoe. Mild hops seal the deal.

Bottle. Aroma is sweet with some toasted malts. Taste is sweet with a bitter finish. Creamy and smooth. Cloudy light Orange color. Good beer I think it wound be better aged a year or so.

Almost two fingers of head on a cloudy, dark straw colored body. The aroma is all barnyard. It’s not the nicest smell but it’s exactly a barnyard. The taste is light with mild lemon bitterness, a little banana and not much else. The texture is soft with moderate carbonation and medium body. A fairly average ale. It’s not bad but there’s nothing to remember it by.

On tap. Clear light golden with a fluffy white head. Sweet banana and pear aroma and taste with some Belgian yeast notes and a clean finish. Decent.

Bomber poured a cloudy golden amber with a small lingering ivory head. Aromas of bread, fruittiness, yeast and spice. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, yeast, earthiness, fruittiness and spice with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Pretty belgiany. Nice lighter color with some golden hues. Some belgian yeast flavors in the aroma and tastes. Decent tasting drink. Had it with my thanksgiving feast :)

Quite the Halloween appropriate label. Pours a golden orange/yellow. A slight citrus aroma. Good almost banana/clove spice on this one. Some vanilla notes too. Tiny bit of bitterness in the back.

Draft from Rosamunde in SF. A solid trippel with undiscernible high apv, and a crisp, clean finish. Notes of champagne, white grapes and berries.
