Bottle. Pours a hazy orange-amber with a high, fine-grained, lacy, extremely solid white head; it looks like meringue. Nose is orange, almonds, coriander, nutmeg, and a savory, cheesy overtone. Sweet on the front of the tongue, with more orange and almond; spice is there, but muted, leaning towards the allspice and coriander end of things rather than the sharpness of clove. Finish is long, and has a touch of hops and citrus-pith bitterness. Refreshing, and not too heavy.

Bottle. Hazy golden yellow pour with a white head. Kind of like a saison with a hint of Brett. Lemon zest. A bit of hop zing. Cool beer.

Trappist1 (437) - Diest, BELGIUM - APR 7, 2014
Golden, hazy color, white airy head. Nose: distinct malts in the nose, some yeast in the back. Taste: malts, hops, some hidden citrus. MF: Great hop bitterness, very balanced, long strecht, average carbonation. dry ending. Had this beer before, and did know it was good, but boy, beat me with a stock. Only the nose is holding this little pearl back.

Goudkleurig, troebel, veel koolzuur. Hele mooie witte, plakkerige, vaste kraag die blijft. Citrusfruitig, hoppig aroma. Smaakt naar citrusfruit, gistig. Fris zomerbier met een goede, bittere nasmaak.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden lemon with visible sediment and heavy frothy white head that slowly dissipates. Aroma is earthy with notes of hay, lemon, coriander. Flavor is bread, hay, alcohol. Body is light with very active carbonation. Palate is light and active that leaves mouth clean.

This pours a hazy, golden yellow color with small floaties. The aroma is slightly sour with a yeasty lemon hint. The taste is crisp, foamy, and slightly bitter. You can tell the yeast is very lively as there is amount of carbonation. Fairly decent for what it is, but there are certainly better options as well.
