COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triporteur From Hell is a dark beer brewed with hellish burned and roasted BOM malt. The beer reminds us of chocolate, caramel, recently brewed coffee and freshly baked bread. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can cause a slight cloudiness. The taste of Hell keeps evolving in the bottle

330ml Bottle. Pours a thick light tan head over a black body. Its aroma is dark fruits, malts and a hint of chocolate. The taste is again malty chocolate and is lacking the sweetness you sometimes get with Belgian beers. A very good drink this.

Its a black beer with a beige head than rescind to a thin ring around the perimeter of the glass. The aroma is thick, malty and cocoa. Body is thin and flavor shallow for a beer of this supposed caliber. Its kind of spicy with its bite, the turns thick and molasses-like on the finish. An inconsistent bee with a lot of string qualities though they all have problems messing in any sort of agreeable fashion.

Bottled, BB = empty, large sample. Clear redbrown color, big frothy light brown head. Aroma of burned caramel, sugary, spicy, slight chocolate. Heavy on the yeast esters, but quite ok for me at the moment. Bit sweet in taste, caramelly, sugar. Quite dry finish. Typical belgian product, focusing on caramel malt and loads of sugar. At least this one is much better than the blonde version. The caramel makes up for quite a lot I guess.

33 cL bottle at home. Pours hazy brown with a reddish glow and a small to medium off-white head. Aroma has some chocolate, licorice, caramel, malts and some roasted malts. Taste has chocolate, a little bit of roasted malts, not much else to it. Medium body and carbo.

hazy chestnut, thin cream ring. Toasted bread nose, light ash and brown sugar, bit plastic and boozy. Flavor is more wort up front, light grains and toasted, doughy and metallic mid becoming hot with licorice and candi in the short, sticky, full bodied finish.

>> Thanks Travlr for the share. Clear deep red pour, smaller beige soda foam. Nose is sweet brown sugar, Belgian Strong Ale style dark fruits/ figs. Taste is heavily metallic, harsh blood and pennies. Couldn’t finish the sample.

Vrij droog donkerbruin bier met hout, gebrande en licht gerookte mout, wat caramel en donker fruit. Aardig.

I wanted to like this. I can tasteh burnt malt and the heavy roasted character, giving it some coffee taste, but overall the intense burnt malt is overwhelming. Dry finish.
