COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Triporteur From Hell is a dark beer brewed with hellish burned and roasted BOM malt. The beer reminds us of chocolate, caramel, recently brewed coffee and freshly baked bread. The wheat malt in the unfiltered beer can cause a slight cloudiness. The taste of Hell keeps evolving in the bottle

CQFD).

330mp bottle from Archive Beer Boutique. There is nothing hellish about this brew. Great aroma of chocolate, burnt and bitter. Looks good with a dark brown colour and tan head. All round awesomeness.

Aroma of chocolate and roasted malt with hints coffee. Pours thick dark brown with a rapidly diminishing tan head and no lacing. The taste is roasty, chocolate, bread and a coffee bitterness. Full body and moderation carbonation. Very smooth, rich mouthfeel. Overall, this is well crafted beer worth drinking again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Countbeer (5309) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - MAY 8, 2013
Bottle: Medium to bigger sized, vast, tocj and slowly changing creamy beige foamy head on top of a deep dark brown colored beer. Aromas of manure, nuts, toast, raisin, corn, light hint of sweets, some spices like cloves, hint of coffee, liquorice wood and creamy darker sweet ish tones. Flavours of toast, barleys, raisin, some toasted leaves and autumnal herbs, light bitter, toast/roast, cream, spices, herbs, light flowers and liquorice wood. Maybe quite simple and nothing innovating, but it’s balanced and Bit like a bock beer, but thicker and more balanced. Aftertaste toast, barleys, nuts, (light) bitter, light spiced. Low to medium carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, a very good and more than just a medium body and a creamy texture. This is a lovely brewery. They make some quality and balanced brews. Tasty and crisp. Good.

3/XI/12 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ home - BB: VIII/15 (2012-1241)

Clear purple brown beer, big frothy beige head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: bit dusty, some dried figs, caramel, mocha, little smoky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bit sour start, roasted flavours, mocha, some citrus, cocoa powder, bitter, some charcoal. Aftertaste: caramel, roasted malts, bitter finish. Very decent beer!

330ml bottle: BBD Oct 2015. Poured at home into a Westvleteren chalice on 24th Sep 2014, sediment and all went into the chalice. Very dark brown to black body, the head a healthy tanned foam covering, the room to dark to tell if the beer was cloudy or clear, held up to the light it was clearly cloudy! Over roasted maltiness hits the nose and then the palate as you take a sip. Burnt notes arrive and drift away as chocolate and coffee flavours replace the initial toasty feel and smells. This is a malty brew with very little hop content noticeable. Fairly dry and bitter it is not for speed drinking, but for a leisurely, slow session of small sips to appreciate the finer things in life. A smoking jacket sort of beer, a coal fire in the winter brew. Very pleasant in deed.
