Thick, stable dark creamcoloured head over deep-brown beer with a faint reddish sheen. Rather nutty nose, roasted bread(crust), leafy; melanoidins in force, resulting in roasted-sweet aromas. Roasted again, but sweetness receding in front of more leafy, earthy and even outright bitterish flavours. Very fine, fleeting sourish-lactic impression. Feels lively carbonated, sparkling. Medium bodied, certain gristslickness. Nice brown. Nothing spectacular, but one to order a second round of immediately - always a good sign.

I had this at Global Brew. Pour reddish brown with a off white head. Taste caramel, sweet, dried fruits, dry finish. I thought this was ok. I wouldn't drink this again.
