COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An American Wheat Ale the way it’s supposed to be. Crisp and refreshing, golden in color with a white head, the Fieldhouse Wheat is moderately hopped with Amarillo hops for a thoroughly friendly experience.

Not a fan of wheat beers; but I can appreciate a good one. This is decent, but nothing special. I'd take an Upland Wheat over this all the time(another local). Wouldn't turn it down, but wouldn't buy again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle courtesy of queenholly. Nice looking wheat in my weizen glass. Cloudy gold color with last white head that laced lightly. The nose is sour lemons. Flavor is tart citrus and a mildly harsh sour wheat notes.( sour in a bad way) I also get the spicy Amarillo hop bitterness. Light herbal notes. Honestly I love wheat ales, drink a lot of them, for me this is just off. Either the hops don’t work with the yeast and recipe or this was an old funky bottle. And I trust queenholly didn’t send me an old bottle so…. This brewery needs to revamp or scrap this brew entirely.

12oz bottle from fletche00. Poured an ugly super hazy gold body with an average sized frothy bright white head. Aroma of wet hay, old bread, rotting lemons and dirt. Flavor is dirty lemon pulp, ddry hay, straw, nut shell. Body is nice and creamy with average carbonation.

Bottle. Clear golden body. Short, white head, rapidly diminishing. Mild aroma of toasted grain, candy, lemon, herbs. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body watery texture, lively carbonation. Sweetness dominates despite some lingering bitterness. As average as you can get.

Bottle poured into a fluted pilsner glass. 2 finger head doesn’t last very long. A lot of grainy aroma comes through in the nose with a bit if wheat and a hint of soft fruit. Flavor is much like the aroma. Doesn’t finish as crisp like I thought it would leaving a little bit of a sweet flavor.

I have had better wheats. Pale in appearance with usual wheat turbidity. Taste and aroma are bordering on bland. Better options out there.

Bottle. Pale gold pour. Weird milky nose. Taste is smooth and not wheaty at all. Either skunked or a big miss.

Bottle I shared at James’s place (thanks JoePeesie!). Pours a clear gold with standard white head. Mineral qualities in the nose with a background of strawberry, wheat, and cheese. Flavor has some sweet creamsicle qualities, and then it gets weird: tomato, basil, wheat. Slightly metallic with cheesy and garlic notes in the finish. This isn’t what it’s supposed to be at all but not quite as offensive as it sounds.

Pour from a 12oz bottle. Hazy brown / yellow brew with one finger of head that settles down to a thin film. Aroma of spice, orange zest, citrus, wheat. Taste is crisp wheat and citrus fruit, a little spice and a decent hops finish to give it crispness and character. Light bodied with a somewhat thin palate, but appropo to the style. I have to say the first bottle of this that I tried was lactic, had overtones of sour cream cheese and citrus, and was generally unpleasant. This is my second bottle and it’s rated based on this.

Bottle courtesy of Anthony. Pours a clear orange body with white lacing. Aroma is orange creamsicle. Mouthfeel is thin with notes of wheat, basil, spice and citrus.
