3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
bottle. Pours a rich deep orange with little head. The aroma is intense hops, tons of welcoming citrus, very inviting. A little over carbonated. The taste is very enjoyable with more intense hops. A little too much bitterness in the aftertaste that sticks around a little too long.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a fairly clear copper-orange with a smaller eggshell head that descends and leaves some soapy lace. Nose involves peppery hop notes, caramel, some orange-citrus, and some herbal notes and veers toward some mild tin notes. Taste is pretty bitter and lightly sweet. Palate is fuller than medium bodied, fairly soft on the carb, tingly with a drying hop bitterness. Pretty decent, but it doesn’t quite pop like I want it to.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle... Sparkling clear orange/amber ale with a mid-sized, frothy, off-white head. Good retention. The bouquet is a mélange of caramel, sugar cookie and citrusy hops. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tickling carbonation. The flavor tilts toward the bitter side of balance, but not by much – cookie sweetness and acrid bitterness are the highlights. Finishes lightly bitter, tongue-numbing and dry.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle thanks to Brigadier! Clear dark tan pour, lasting ring of carbonation and an aroma of bitter orange hops. Flavor is good and malty, some light hops and very dry on the finish. Not bad, would probably pick it up if available locally.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Clear amber body. Off-white, frothy head. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, Notes of husky grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly sweet and moderately bitter. The malts do little to cut the bitterness in the finish. It lingers a long time. Medium body, chewy texture, lively carbonation. Raw, resinous hops dominate the flavor. Whatever malt character this has is overrun by bitterness which also overruns the hop flavors. A bit clunky and unclean. An IPA like a lot of IPAs.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Really love this beer. Mix of citrus and piney hops make this one a home run for me. Best IPA out of Indy hands down.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
tap at Brewhaven - Pours hazy copper colored with good lacing and a citrus hop aroma. The flavor has crisp citrus hops bitterness that’s well balanced by the malt backbone. Overall it’s a good brew though it doesn’t stand out.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear medium dark amber with a good foamy head and horizontal bands of lace. Not for the faint of hops. Starts innocently enough, with typical caramel malt, moves through a mostly mild palate, and then slams you with pine hops just as the flavor unwinds at the finish. Talk about delayed gratification - very visible hops, but you have to wait and wait. Interesting.
