2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap at brewpub in Philly. Pour is a hazy, deep orange, with not much head or lacing. Aromas are on the weak side with small amounts of dull cascade hops and malt coming through. Taste is lemony german malts, citrus from hops. Not the best amber ale. Finishes very dry. This was a very bland, flavor lacking amber in my book.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20
Tap at the brewery. Light amber color with a white head that fades to a thin ring around the glass. Faint aroma of cereal malt and Earthy hops. Taste is hoppier than most amber ales. Earthy hops, and resin show up first before fading to the background behind golden brown sugar and caramel. Hops show up again at the end. My description sounds like this beer is really balanced but its kind of choppy. Not much mouthfeel. The bigger than expected hops were a nice surprise but something’s missing here.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Part of the draft sampler @ the Princeton location. Medium-dark mahogany body with little head. Aroma is doughy and sweet. Somewhat hoppy but mostly more bready malts in the flavor. Not bad.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A very refreshing amber. Had it on tap at the Philly location. Pours amber with a small off white head. The aroma has a lot of malt, biscuit, some yeast. The flavor starts malty sweet but is balanced nicely by a nice hop bitterness. The finish is crisp, dry and clean

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
This poured a clear amber to red color with a beige head. Aroma was grainy, light biscuit and some old bitter/citrusy hops. Flavor was a bit off, almost dirty and graint, with herbal notes and light cracker.
