COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed in a Pacific-Northwest style. Its sweet malty taste is balanced with a generous helping of Cascade hops.

From the tap poured an amber color with a fair amount of head. Nice bitter hoppy flavor with a lasting aftertaste.

Samples at the Triumph. Pours amber hue with a lively carbonation. Aroma is of cherry, caramel malt, and citrusy hops. The body is medium and quite smooth. Flavors are dominated by citrusy hops with some caramel malt and ripe fruit in the background. Long, dry finish. I’m not sure what is this brew trying to represent. .

Pours a lively amber color with a light head. I get a nice malted taste but as the beer warms the hop spiciness becomes more pronounced.

Mid-range amber color topped with a creamy head. Not much discernable aroma. Weak, watered down amber body with some residual grain sugar. Not terrible, just bland.

On tap at Princeton. Really just a hopped up amber ale. Pours an amber color. Some piney notes.

ROGUE (1315) - Newark, Delaware, USA - JAN 26, 2011
On tap at brewpub. Pours a hazy amber color with a thick off white head. Aroma is all roasted malt with a touch of chocolate and a wood aroma. Taste is sweet citrus hops, orange and grapefruit. The earthy hoppiness leaves an oily residue and a malty, wheaty aftertaste. The alcohol comes through just a hint as it warms. A well-balanced amber, sessionable brew.
