3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 boto (1550) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - JAN 8, 2011
Draught in Philly location: This one poured a clear amber color, with about an inch of an off-white head. It leaves some lacing on the glass. The aroma is lighter, but good. Malts, citrus and earthy notes. It has a nice taste. Medium toasty malt, but hardly any sweetness. Smooth, slightly earthy with a dry finish. It is well-balanced and easy drinking.

Draft at Philly location. Pours a deep reddish amber. Fluffy head. Nose is citrusy and fresh. Notes of caramel and bread as well. Nice bitterness level, plenty of fruity and citrus and the caramel stays out of the way. One of the better ambers I’ve had in a long time.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kramer (3376) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 19, 2010
On tap, Philly location. Pours a clear light copper body with a nice foamy off-white head. A bit of hops with some light fruity ale notes on the nose, a light hint of oranges. The flavor is pretty interesting, there’s a touch of orange peel like citrus on the finish with some light toasted malt. Mouthfeel is lighter bodied with soft gentle carbonation. Some lingering hops. A bit more flavorful than the average Amber, but nothing wonderful.

On tap at Triumph. Pours a hazy orange amber with a thin to medium sized white head. Nice clean citrus, and caramel malt. Caramel, earthy malt, touch metal, emptier than nose implied. Bit of metal on the finish, soft bitterness and earth. Nice easy pale.
