Commercial Description:
This special India Pale Ale was first brewed in honor of Princeton University's 250th anniversary and Triumph Brewing Company's first. It's a crisp, hoppy, high gravity ale. The high hopping rate and hefty alcohol content, once used to preserve this ale on the long ocean voyage to India, now provide it with a distinct aroma and robust flavor.

Draft, along ago. Pours a golden body with a white head. Sweet hop citrus tones, some pine and grapefruit notes. I loved it.

Pours a hazy reddish orange (rust?) color with a good head and good lace. Aroma has some pineapple and fruity stuff going on; there is some sweet malt and citrus hops. Flavor is fruity and hoppy but kind of boring.

Tap at the Philly location: Hazy deep copper with a dense lacing off white head. Nice fruity hop aroma- citrus and tropical notes of peach (Amarillo). Creamy fluffy feel- nice body. Some honeyish malt sweetness backs a tropical fruit hop flavor of peach and mild mango. The finish is moderately bitter and resiny. A bit sweet but it’s balanced & juicy. A decent IPA.

Sampler at the Philly brewery. Citrusy hop aroma. Classic orange golden with small white head. Caramel maltiness in flavor with moderate tea like and citrus hop flavor. Finish is dry with medium residual bitterness.

Almost orange pour with creamy white head and lace. Medium citrus aroma dominates. Medium malt, citrus, with a good finishing bitter. Just a tad foamy for me. A good beer hands down.

Tap at the Princeton brewpub. Amber color with a white head. Piney hops and sweet malt on the aroma and flavor. Not particularly complex or unique, but not bad. Palate average for the style.

Draft pour at Princeton poured a nice copper color with white head lots of lacing looked like tiger stripes on my glass hoppy aroma it doesn’t boast a whole lot of flavor has consistent and light hoppy aftertaste ... However brew goes down easy and is not offensive

Growler from Princeton location. Pour is copper with lacy white head. Aromas of piney hops, resin, and sweet malts. Flavor is light with resin, pine, citrus, and slight fruit. Nice brew and very drinkable.
