Draft at new hope. Pretty sure this is on nitro. Clean aroma. Clean flavor. Almost watery but very drinkable.

Draught at Princeton, pretty sure this was on the hand-pump. Served up a copper/orange body that was pretty damn clear for "unfiltered real ale" sitting underneath a frothy off white head. The aroma was super subtle to the point of me actually dipping my nose into the beer trying to get some aroma from it. After sitting for awhile and with zen like concentration I was able to detect grains and some fruit rinds. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, an average duration on the aftertaste, the mouthfeel is so creamy it’s almost chewy. Flavor is way better then the aroma with lots of dough, breads, cake batter, vanilla tobacco and more. This one was my favorite by far.

On tap at the Princeton locale, i think this was on hand pump. Clear amber with a white head leaving lacy sheets. Nose is faint toffee and grass. Crisp medium light. Taste is lemon pith and grass. Kind of dusty, musky.

Part of the draft sampler @ the Princeton location. Glad it was served at cellar temperature, bringing out the ’English’ in it. Low carbonation, moderate hoppiness and a good deal of doughy malts but nothing too overpowering in any one dimension. Definitely an all-day quaffing style.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
I had this at the Princeton location. It was served at cellar temperature in a pint glass. It is a light amber, almost honey color. Not a lot of carbonation.
It lives up to its name, as the hoppy bitterness prevailed over the malt, but it definitely was not a hop bomb. You do get a bit of the hops citrus flavors.
I didn’t get a lot of aroma, but allergies had my sinuses a bit plugged, so I’m not holding that against it.
All in all, a decent bitter that succeeds in its goal of being a British style bitter. Paired better with the food than the imperial stout I also sampled.

Cask, vintage rating. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Bitter citrus and lemon notes, bitter body with a bread y body with some grain y notes. A nice ale.

Draught in Princeton. Clear copper orange, lacing eggshell head. Great English hop aroma, Fuggles? Light/thin body, bready taste with decent malt backbone and light bitterness. Slight ending sourness. A little rubbery, and not great to style, but, well, good enough. A shame for Triumph, this offering falls short.
