Tap at the brewery. Golden pour, white head with moderate lacing. Centennial hop aroma. The hops jump forward in the mouth but have a Fruity Pebbles character to them. The malt is doing a nice job of propping up the hoppy flavors which fade into a bitter bite. The bitter finish dries out your mouth like the tanins in a bold red wine. I don’t eat meat, but I think a rich, marbled steak would be a nice accompaniment to this brew.

@NH-on tap-pours an offwhite head with gold/amber color. Aroma is soft citrus/some pine, secondary medium malt. Taste is citrus-orange/pine hops with some bite, secondary medium malt-some caramel.

Draft at new hope. Pours a nice amber color. Aroma is nonexistant, but this was a sampler glass. Taste is sweet and mildly lineup. Not holly enough for the ipa moniker. More a pale ale in my opinion.

On tap at Triumph. Pours an amber orange color with a white foam head. Has an aroma of hops and caramel. Has a sweet grapefruit taste with caramel and pine. Hops are too mellow.

Pours orange reddish with a white head. Aroma is grass, muted citrus and florals. Taste is sweet with nice bitters on the finish. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel.

Tap at Philly. Pours a hazy copper (more hazy than their other IPA’s (and most of their standard beers actually) Nice foamy off white head and great lace. Aroma is piney, light mint, orange, good citrus- a bit dull overall- not as refined or bright in the hop dept- good caramel and carapils malts. Flavor is light earth, pine, zesty orange oils, a touch of grass, light citrus overall- good caramel light sweetness- mostly clean finish and a bit raw bitterness from the hops. Pretty good, just not hop forward enough for my liking (or even enough to showcase Centennial fully).

Tap at princeton. Poured hazy yellow with a fluffy white head. Aroma of orange and pine. Good solid hop flavor with booze finish. Not bad.

On draft at the Philly location. The pour was amber colored, full sized head typical for the style, good lacing too. The aroma was citrusey hops with some resinous notes. The base beer may have had some fruity elements associated with the aroma, but hard to tell with the citrus there. The flavor followed the aroma, earthy bitter and slightly citrus Euro-hop type of presentation. Slight caramel and fruity ester malty base. Clean, well-carbonated, pretty good drinker - yet unexciting, as this brewer proved to me over several brews, pretty vanilla.
