I’m really baffled by the high ratings of Triumph’s beers.
On tap at New hope. Again another watery, soapy beer that has very little flavor.
The place is nice and the brewer loves what he does , but thheir beers all have the same watery, soapy taste.

Pours a brownish amber. Flavor is earthy sweet. Meaty hops and pine attributes abound. The info cars says that it’s brewed in a Pac-North style and it shows I think. Feel is good. Drinkability is good. A bit of a hophead type of beer. With so many of this style out there, and the more I try, the competition is tough, but this one holds some ground.

Tap @ Triumph Philly. Poured a clear copper color with a white head. Earthy and sweaty hops made up the aroma. The flavor had a caramel malt start then a fairly large amount of hops in the middle. The caramel came back at the finish along with a mild bitterness.
